Dr. Stefan Valdes, PT, DPT, CSCS, USAW
Dr. V, graduated with his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Miami. He uses his DPT education in combination with his strength and conditioning experience to blend rehab and performance appropriately to help get clients to their goals.
He has experience working in the NBA for the OKC Thunder and the Detroit Pistons as a Performance Coach. The same principles and methods he has used to train professional athletes were used in the development of Movement Lab's assessment and training system.
Because of Dr. V's principles, Movement Lab is able to train around any injury to continue to improve a client's ability to reach their goals.
Miguel Molina, B.S
Miguel is a strength coach and mobility specialist who holds certifications with FRC, Kinstretch, and SMART TOOLS.
Miguel received a bachelor's degree in sports management from Florida International University where he was able to gain knowledge and experience that helped shape his client-centric training style where he aims to coach and educate each individual client about proper movement and exercise.
Whether the goal is strength training, weight loss, improving performance, recovering from or mitigating injury, Miguel can meet clients where they are and get them where they want to go. All of the clients programs are based on scientific principles and he views his clients health/ lifestyle as a whole.
Christian Gonzalez, B.S
Christian Gonzalez is a certified personal trainer that specializes in Athletic Development and physical improvements such as weight loss or muscle gain.
He received his bachelors degree in health sciences from Florida International University. Prior to working at Movement Lab, Christian completed an internship there and at Bommarito Sports Performance. He has aspirations of attending DPT school in the future.
Christian strongly believes that exercising and movement quality go hand- in-hand and are essential for anyone trying to lead a healthy and happy Lifestyle. For Christian, it's more than just designing a personalized program, It’s about apply the training regimen outside of our walls and into your daily life.
Jordan Topps, B.S.E.S.
Jordan is a personal trainer that specializes in physical fitness improvement and athletic training.
Before his employment at Movement Lab, Jordan completed a four month internship here at the Lab while completing his Bachelors degree in Exercise Science from the University of Mississippi.
During his internship, he solidified the belief that exercise & proper movement, along with the right intent, are essential for anyone who wants to live a healthy and happy lifestyle.
